  • Modeled corn earworm movement on air parcels using HYSPLIT air trajectory model to predict effects of synoptic weather patterns on migration into northeast US corn crop.
  • Worked with meteorologists, entomologists, and geographers in multi-disciplinary project funded by USDA.
  • Presented a poster showing preliminary results to meteorology community during the American Meteorological Society Annual Meeting - 2004 and presented results to various community members during meetings.
  • Won honors during Undergraduate Research Exhibition – 2005 for case study outlining potential sources of corn earworm using backwards trajectories in HYSPLIT.
